  My husband and I were lead to believe we would have no issues winning our case against a local police department for wrongfully issuing a citation. After the initial consultation, we had zero contact with any Attorney at the firm. The front clerk always said they were never available or that she would get the message to the attorney. So they have terrible communication with their clients, which for us is a huge red flag. Come the court arraignment date, my Husband showed up to court, plead not guilty and two days later received a letter in the mail from the courts with the discovery hearing court date. The very next day we receive a phone call from Doug Norwood's wife, Cathy Norwood, stating that because my Husband had shown up for his court hearing, they were no longer going to represent us. Cathy said that it is the attorneys job to show up to the arraignment date and because my Husband came to the hearing, that shows we don't have faith in their firm, so she fired my Husband. Keep in mind, prior to the hearing, we still had never met nor spoke with the assigned attorney. My Husband asked to speak to one of the Attorneys at the firm to get a better understanding of the situation and Norwood's wife refused any contact and told him he had until close of business that day to pick up is refunded money. Now we are back to square one, trying to find a reputable attorney. So, all in all it was a terrible experience with this so called "Experienced Law Firm"

  Norwood & Norwood helped me out with my case. They were prompt, answered all of my questions, and thoroughly explained the whole process. Their fees were very reasonable and they kept me up-to-date with everything that was going on. I'd definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a defense attorney.

  Great attorney! Always very helpful staff which helps when you have no idea what you are doing. Their fees are very reasonable and they even do payment plans which is incredibly helpful these days.
